Scaryville!
A buddy of mine from college, aptly called "Chicago," is the drummer of a phenomenal new band, Bryan Scary & The Shredding Tears. The band "likes things big." They mix "elements of psychedelia, classic rock, indie, and prog into their sonic stew" -- and they put one the best live show I've ever seen.
Their second album, "Flight of the Knife," is being released -- for free! -- online here. You can download a song a week until the whole album is published in April. I must warn, though, that their sound is a little abrasive. They are loud -- very loud -- so be prepared for something different. But it's something I promise you'll listen to again and again, and, before you know, you'll be sharing it with your friends.

Andrew's Big Day
While these photos and movies are a week late. I felt that they needed to be shared. In the 24+ hours that was Andrew Leonard's birthday celebration the good Professor managed to be roofied at a gay bar, impress us all with his amazing washboard tie and entertain us with the excitement that is his life. Also Dr. Cook ran by a cop car nearly naked. Enjoy.
